Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex (male/female). Age group 40 70 years. Patients having classical signs & symptoms of Janugata Sandhivata such as: Knee joint pain (Janu Sandhi Shoola) Stiffness (Sandhi Stabdhata) Crepitus Restricted movement Patients diagnosed with Knee Osteoarthritis based on: Clinical findings Radiological evidence (X-ray showing osteophytes, reduced joint space, etc.) Patients willing to participate and give written informed consent. Patients ready to follow trial protocol and attend regular follow-up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age below 41 years and above 60 years will be excluded. Unwilling patient will be excluded. Cases having severe joints deformities like Heberden node etc. will be excluded. Cases with complications like severe ankylosed Joints and with infective joints disorders (Osteomyelitis), moderate to significant synovitis will also be excluded. Pregnant women and Lactating mothers will be excluded Patient having Rheumatoid arthritis or having Gouty arthritis will be excluded. Patient having secondary osteoarthritis (except control DM and thyroid disorder) infective or inflammatory arthritis of knee joint will be excluded. Patient have any other systemic disorder.

Reduction in pain, stiffness and improvement in joint function will be assessed in patients of Knee OsteoarthritisTimepoint: Baseline (Day 0), Day 15, Day 30, Day 45, Day 60, Day 75 and Day 90
