Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients visiting the dentist for the first time. 2. Patients over 18-45 years old. 2. Patients willing to participate in the study 3. Patients scheduled for extraction

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with psychiatric illness or cognitive impairment 2. Currently on anti-anxiety medication 3. History of prior art therapy or other relaxation techniques

To evaluate the effect of art therapy in reducing dental anxiety levels in adult patients undergoing dental extraction in a tertiary care hospital in Bhubaneswar.Timepoint: 1. Baseline (before extraction) 2. after 15 minutes of art therapy in the experimental group or 15 minutes of waiting without art therapy in the comparotor group.
