Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Athletes of age group 18 to 26 years 2 or more episodes of the ankle giving way in the 6 months before the study 1 substantial ankle sprain the most recent injury must have occurred more than 3 months before study enrollment Feeling of instability confirmed by a Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool CAIT score less than 24. Shamseddini Sofla et al 2021 A score of less than 90 in the daily activities section and less than 80 in the sports activities section of the Foot and Ankle Ability Measure FAAM questionnaire Shamseddini Sofla et al 2021

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of any fracture of the lower extremity. 2. Any current knee or hip injuries that limit function 3. History of previous surgery to the musculoskeletal structures of either lower extremity
