Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA1 and ASA2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant and lactating females. History of allergy to study drugs. Chronic use of analgesic. Concurrent beta blocker use.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
compare the effect of dexmedetomidine lignocaine combination and morphine on haemodynamic parameters. Timepoint: At the time of induction, 3 mins, 5mins and every 10 mins thereafter throughout the procedure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the intraoperative analgesic requirement,sedation score & postoperative complications like pruritus & postoperative nausea & vomiting.Timepoint: At the time of induction, 3 mins, 5mins & every 10 mins thereafter throughout the procedure Every hourly in post operative period till 24hrs
