Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Confirmed or probable pulmonary TB cases 2.TB as per NTEP and WHO disease guidelines 3.Age 6 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Drug-resistant TB or HIV co-infection 2. Underlying Chronic liver/kidney disease 3. Vitamin E use with in last 14 days

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Change in lung function at baseline, 2 months, and 6 months using spirometry and forced oscillometry.Timepoint: 5years

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Change in Quality-of-Life (QOL) score measured by PeDsQL Pediatric QOL Inventory at baseline, 2 months, and 6 months.Timepoint: 5 years
