Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Male archers aged between 18 to 25 years Registered archers who are actively participating in regular archery training Minimum 1 year of archery training experience Participants who are medically fit to perform the intervention exercises Willing to participate and provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of musculoskeletal injury in the last 6 months Presence of any neurological disorder affecting balance, coordination, or motor performance Any vestibular dysfunction, vertigo, or balance impairment Any biomechanical deformity or postural abnormality affecting shooting posture Current participation in any structured core stability or virtual reality training program Use of medications that may affect balance, concentration, or physical performance Any medical condition that contraindicates participation in physical exercise

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Lumbopelvic Stability Assessed using the Knee Lift Abdominal Test (KLAT) and Bent Knee Fall-Out Test (BKFOT) with a pressure biofeedback unit to evaluate trunk control and lumbopelvic stability. Time Point: Baseline and at the end of 6 weeks Centre of Pressure Distribution Assessed using D-Wall force platform, measuring sway parameters including sway area, anterior-posterior sway, and medio-lateral sway to determine postural stability. Time Point: Baseline and at the end of 6 weeks Shooting Accuracy Assessed by recording the target score of 12 arrows (2 ends of 6 arrows each) to evaluate shooting performance. Time Point: Baseline and at the end of 6 weeksTimepoint: Pre 0th week Post 6th week
