Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals screened through SNOT-22 questionnaire. Willing to participate and provide informed consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute sinusitis episodes within past 4weeks. History of nasal or sinus surgery in past 6 months. Known allergy to peppermint oil. Intolerance to steam therapy.

Sinus symptoms and quality of life, subjective improvement assessmentTimepoint: Pre-intervention assessment was carried out using SNOT-22(Sino-Nasal Outcome Test) questionnaire. Mid-intervention and post-intervention assessment was conducted using the SNOT-22 questionnaire along with PGIC (Patients Global Impression of Change Scale).

To assess the level of patient satisfaction with the treatment, adherence to the intervention and the changes in overall quality of life following the intervention.
