Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individual between age group of 05 to 18 years of both sexes Patients having classical features of Tamak Shwasa as described in classical textbooks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Child below 05 year & above 18 years of age will be excluded from present study Patients suffering from chronic respiratory disorders like pulmonary tuberculosis chronic lung disease pulmonary edema bronchogenic carcinoma will be excluded from present study Patient suffering from cardiac disease GIT disease genitourinary disease metabolic disorders like diabetes mellitus and behavioral disorders etc. will be excluded from study Congenital anomalies of the respiratory tract or congenital heart disease

To compare the efficacy of Drakshapathyadi syrup an Ayurvedic formulation and Levosalbutamol syrup a standard bronchodilator in the management of Tamak Shwasa (Juvenile Bronchial Asthma) in childrenTimepoint: 30 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the effect of Drakshapathyadi syrup and Levosalbutamol syrup on clinical symptoms of Tamak Shwasa including dyspnea wheezing cough and chest tightness To assess changes in pulmonary function parameters (such as PEFR and FEV1) in children receiving either treatment To determine the safety and tolerability of Drakshapathyadi syrup in comparison with Levosalbutamol syrup in the pediatric population To observe the effect of both interventions on the frequency and severity of asthma exacerbations during the study period To explore the impact of Drakshapathyadi syrup on overall quality of life in children with juvenile bronchial asthma compared to standard therapy.Timepoint: 30 days
