Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patient with absolute symptoms of Asrugdar like 1.Atyadhik raktastrav 2.Sarvangmarda 3.Katishoola 4.Adhodarshoola 2)Patients having sign and symptoms of menorrhagia like 1.Excessive vaginal bleeding 2.Long duration of blood flow during menses 3.Passage of clots 4.Patients having any one of the symptom with or without Body ache, weakness, giddiness,anemia 3)Voluntary willing patients. 4)Patient having no any systemic disease. 5)Patients irrespective of a) religion b)Cast c)occupation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Age below 18 and 45 above 2)Known patients of malignancy,cervical erosion,polyp,adenomyosis,pelvic endometriosis,tubo-ovarian mass 3)Diagnosed patients with any serious systemic disorder. 4)Known case of structural anomalies of genital organ. 5)Patients with chronic illness 6)Hb less than 8 gm%

To evaluate the efficacy of Mudga ghrita in the management of Asrugdar with special reference to menorrhagia. Reduction in menstrual blood loss assessed by Pictorial Blood Assessment Chart (PBAC) score from baseline to completion of 3 consecutive menstrual cycles (3 months).Timepoint: 3 months

1)Improvement in duration of bleeding, reduction in associated symptoms (angamarda, katishoola, adhodarshoola) using grading scales, & change in number of sanitary pads used per cycle over 3 months. 2)To define Asrugdar in the terms of heavy menstrual bleeding 3)To find easy & effective management of Asrugdar 4)To review the details of Asrugdar in Ayurveda literature 5)To study pathophysiology of menorrhagia according to modern literatureTimepoint: 3 months
