Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1 patients of either sex 2 aged 18 to 65 yrs 3 ASA grade I to III 4 Patients undergoing elective surgery for fracture of femur unable to sit for spinal anaesthesia due to severe pain 5 Patients willing to give written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with Polytrauma 2 Patients with history of known hypersensitivity to study drugs 3 Patients with compromised renal, cardiac and respiratory status like asthma, recent MI, conduction disturbances, Cerebrovascular accidents ,bleeding disorders, peripheral neuropathy, severe coronary insufficiency, chronic renal insufficiency 4 Patient with general contraindication for spinal anaesthesia
