Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients having fistulous tract upto 1-7 cm 2) Male and Female patients aged between 16 to 70 years. 3) Patients having classical sign and symptoms of the bhagandara (Fistula-in-ano) 4) Those ready to give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients having fistulous tract more than 7 cm 2) Age less than 16 years or more than 70 years 3) High anal fistula 4) Any colorectal malignancy 5) Uncontrolled Hypertension,Heart diseases (MI, CAD, IHD,etc.) 6) Uncontrolled or insulin dependent diabetes mellitus 7) HIV, HBsAg, or VDRL positive.

Improvement in the overall signs and symptoms grading score, including Pain (VAS), Tenderness, Itching, Pain during Ksharsutra changing, Swelling, Pus discharge, Unit cutting time and Hypertrophy near the external opening.Timepoint: Baseline and weekly up to 6 weeks
