Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: There are two groups Group A comprising of pregnant anaemic females in their first trimester and Group B comprising B of pregnant non-anaemic females in their first trimester

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic diseases (Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders) History of smoking, alcohol or tobacco use Chronic inflammatory or infectious diseases Recent antioxidant supplementation (within last 3 months) Periodontal disease or active oral infections

MeasureTime frame
To estimate salivary oxidative stress markers in anaemic females and non-anaemic pregnant females. To compare salivary oxidative stress markers between anaemic and non-anaemic pregnant females. To correlate salivary oxidative stress markers with haemoglobin values. To validate whether oxidative stress is related to high-risk pregnancy Timepoint: The salivary biomarkers will be analysed at 11 weeks of pregnancy and further it will be corelated with high risk pregnancy
