Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients willing and able to give written informed consent Diagnosis of major depressive disorder as defined by DSM-5 patients on stable antidepressant medications for atleast 4 weeks prior to enrollment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who refuse to consent for study History of neurocognitive disorders or severe psychiatric disorders other than MDD Bipolar depression, psychotic depression Pregnancy or breastfeeding Metal implants in head Skin lesions over the stimulation site History of seizures or epilepsy Patients who had previously undergone any neuromodulation techniques including ECT in the last 6 months
