Intervention1: high intensity interval training: The experimental group will follow a 22-minute HIIT protocol designed by (Andrade-Lara et al., 2023
Saphira et al., 2021) which will be demonstrated well by the therapist and will only be performed under supervision of the research team. Protocol has the following steps- a) 5-minute warm-up and is
for instance, sets one and three include jumping jacks and 20-meter sprints, while sets two and four consist of mountain climbers and high knees. d) A cool down period of 1 minute by slow paced walk

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Both males Females of age 25-35 years 2. Chronic partial Sleep deprived individuals (less than 6 h of sleep per night for more than 5 days) (Khazaie at al., 2010). 3. Normal Body Mass Index (BMI) -18.5-25 kg/m2 (Saphira et a., 2021) 4. No anatomical abnormalities in the lower limbs, normal blood pressure (Saphira et a., 2021) 5. participants free of any contraindications to performing intense whole-body exercise (i.e. no pre-existing musculoskeletal injury and/or medical conditions) (Walsh et al., 2018) 6. Participants who are willing to perform HIIT (Chutani et al., 2025

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants on medications that affect cognition (e.g., antidepressants, benzodiazepines etc) (Chutani et al.,2025) 2. Individuals with conditions affecting the central nervous system (e.g., thyroid disease, multiple sclerosis etc) (Chutani et al.,2025) 3. Individuals with stress, anxiety and depression (via DASS scale) 4. Individuals with cardiovascular strain risk (assessed by PAR-Q) 5. Individuals with a history of alcohol use, asthma, hypertension, or diabetes. (Chutani et al.,2025)
