Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome who are In the age group of 18 to 65 years who have fulfilled ICD-11 criteria for alcohol dependence and receiving treatment for the condition Admitted in family psychiatry ward, de-addiction ward and visiting to psychiatric outpatient department Able to read and understand Kannada and English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with alcohol dependance syndrome with Co-morbid psychiatric illness Polysubstance abuse Severe physical illness Withdrawal symptoms or delirium tremens.
