Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 40 to 75 years. 2. First ever unilateral ischemic or haemorrhagic stroke. 3. Duration of stroke 1 to 6months (subacute phase) 4. Ability to sit independently for at least 30 sec. 5. Mini mental state examination (MMSE) score greater than 24

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe spasticity (Modified Ashworth Scale more than 3) 2. Other neurological disorders (e.g, Parkinson s disease) 3. Recurrent stroke 4. Severe cognitive impairment or aphasia 5. Other neurological or musculoskeletal conditions affecting balance 6. Unstable medical or cardiac conditions
