Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)adherence to the sepsis & septic shock diagnostic criteria 2)completion of various labarotary tests according to sepsis guideline including erythropoietin and paco2 gap 3) all ages above 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy and lactation Chronic kidney disease exogenous erythropoietin therapy malignant neoplasms undergoing chemo or radiotherapy
