Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients in the age group 18 25 years Patients with Angle s Class II malocclusion with end on end molar and end on end canine relation bilaterally, with minimal upper and lower anterior crowding. Patients with pleasing profile indicated for maxillary arch distalization Patients with average growth pattern Good patient compliance during the treatment with good oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
time taken from end on end molar relation to achieve class I molar relation bilaterallyTimepoint: t1 and t2

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Inter-canine & inter-molar width At T0 T1 T3 & T4 to analyse arch expansion.Timepoint: At T0 T1 T3 & T4;cephalometric assessment is carried out at the beginning of treatment and after completion of treatment to determine & compare the skeletal, dental and soft tissue changes in both groups.Timepoint: T0 and T4
