Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consecutive patients admitted to the PICU from the age group of 1 month to 12 years of either gender will be enrolled in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients whose parents or guardians refuse to give informed consent and children below the age of 1 month or beyond 12 years will be excluded.

MeasureTime frame
Study will quantify PICU medication costs, identify major cost drivers and coverage gaps, and provide evidence to optimize resource allocation while reducing out of pocket burden on families.Timepoint: At discharge from the PICU or at death of the patient. Final outcome to be calculated after 1 year of study.
