Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Individuals who will be willing to give their consent. 2 Patients diagnosed with chronic gingivitis within the age group of 18-60 years and with no history of periodontitis 3 Presence of at least 20 teeth in mouth with no orthodontic or prosthetic apparatus.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Individuals who will not consent to participate in the study. 2 Patients with history of oral prophylaxis 6 months prior. 3 Lactating and pregnant women. 4 Smoking or alcohol consumption habits and other habits such as mouth breathing. 5 allergies or any systemic diseases that may affect wound healing
