Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA 2 and 3 patients Patients with COPD scheduled for elective abdominal surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: BMI more than 35 patient refusal for spinal contraindication of spinal anaesthesia

| 1)To assess the extent and duration of anesthesia in segmental spinal anesthesia. 2.To assess the haemodyanamic stabilitY associated with segmental spinal anaesthesia 3 Time to first rescue analgesia in segmental spinal anesthesia. Timepoint: Number of dermatomal segments will be recorded at 1,3,5 and 7 minutes following spinal. Vital parameters HR,SPO2 and NIBP will be recorded just before spinal and then every 2 min for the first 10 min, every 5 min until the end of surgery. | — |
