To compare the effect of preoperative carbohydrate loading in anxiety level of pediatric patients undergoing cardiac catherization lab procedures with those kept fasting using modified Yale preoperative anxiety scaleTimepoint: Baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess mask acceptance of the patients using Mask Acceptance Scale during induction of anaesthesiaTimepoint: Baseline; To see the preoperative blood glucose level using blood glucose stripsTimepoint: Baseline; To assess the gastric volume using ultrasonography 1 hour after intake of carbohydrate drinkTimepoint: Baseline; To assess the parental satisfaction using a questionnaireTimepoint: Baseline; To assess distress levels using Comfort Behaviour Scale if child is asleepTimepoint: Baseline
