Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Factory workers of aged 18 to 60 years. 2 Workers employed in factories for at least 6 months continuously within a year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Pregnant women. 2 Recent thoracic or abdominal surgical factory workers.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Pulmonary function parameters measured by spirometry including forced expiratory volume in 1 second, forced vital capacity and FEV1 and FVC ratio.Timepoint: Baseline(before intervention), 3weeks and after 6 weeks of structured breathing exercises.

MeasureTime frame
Quality of life assessed using SF-12 Questionnaire.Timepoint: Baseline(before intervention), 3 weeks & after 6 weeks of structured breathing exercises.
