Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients clinically suspected to have interstitial lung disease based on symptoms Patients willing to undergo both chest X-ray and HRCT

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with known pulmonary malignancy. Patients with history of recent thoracic trauma Pregnant women. Uncooperative patients or those with contraindications to CT imaging.

MeasureTime frame
To compare the diagnostic performance of HRCT with conventional chest radiography in patients suspected of ILD. To differentiate ILD from other similar looking pathologies on HRCT. To evaluate the role of HRCT in characterizing different patterns of ILD To compare the diagnostic accuracy of HRCT in comparison with other diagnostic modalities like PFTs,histopathology and clinical symptoms etc. wherever possible.Timepoint: at baseline
