Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged 11 - 18 years undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment. 2. Patients with baseline Plaque Index indicating presence of dental plaque. 3. Patients willing to participate and provide written informed consent (and parental consent for minors). 4. Patients who have been wearing fixed orthodontic appliances for at least 1 month. 5. Patients who agree to comply with study instructions and follow-up schedule

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient having dental fluorosis/ dysplasia of the teeth. 2. Patient who have syndromes or other abnormalities of the craniofacial complex. 3. Subjects smoking or using other tobacco products. 4. Taking antibiotics during the last 2 months, use of chlorhexidine or another mouthwash in the last 3 weeks. 5. Patients allergic to pineapple, latex or any other plant. 6. Patients undergoing any surgery. 7. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents
