Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants with a BMI greater than or equal to 27.5 kg/m2 Age group 30 65 y, both males and females Elevated waist circumference (Greater than 90 cm for men and greater than 80 cm for women)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants with a known history of type 2 diabetes Allergic to nuts Those with BMI greater than 35 kg/m2 Patients on oral steroids or hormonal therapy Those who underwent a major surgery in past 6 months Participant with bad dentures Patients with Cancer Patients on medications for psychiatric disorders Those with active weight loss (more than 3 kg in last month) Pregnant/lactating women Presence of liver, kidney, thyroid, or other endocrine diseases Those with an eating disorder
