Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with skeletal Class II malocclusion with a normal maxilla and retrognathic mandible. 2. Class II molar relation. 3. Overjet equal to or greater than 4mm. 4. Patient with permanent dentition within the age group of 13 to 20 years for fixed functional group 5. No history of orthodontic treatment. 6. Positive VTO on clinical evaluation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with class I and class III malocclusion. 2. No craniofacial syndromes or systemic disease. 3. Mild crowding and proclination in the dental arches.
