Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients exhibiting Angles Class I malocclusion with anterior maxillary proclination necessitating bilateral extraction of the maxillary first premolars Maxillary incisor display greater than 2mm Presence of an overbite greater than 2mm Good periodontal health with no clinical signs of active gingival or periodontal disease Minimal lower arch crowding
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of any kind of trauma or endodontic treatment of the maxillary incisors Patients with congenital abnormalities such as craniofacial syndrome or cleft lip or palate Severe skeletal discrepancies requiring surgical correction Previous history of orthodontic treatment
