Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than or equal to 18 years 2. Reporting with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) or transient ischemic attack (TIA) within two weeks of symptom onset 3. Vascular imaging (CTA/MRA/DSA) showing cervical artery dissection (Note: Patients with vascular occlusion are eligible if the occlusion is at a classical dissection site without evidence of atherosclerotic disease)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Evidence of other etiology of stroke 2. Pre-morbid mRS greater than 2 3. Life expectancy of less than 6 months 4. Unlikely to complete follow-up due to geographical or other factors
