Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals having less than or equal to 10 cigarette/day. Those willing to participate in the study. Participants in Pre-contemplation, contemplation and preparation stage will be included in the study. Individuals able to attend baseline and 6 month visit. Not currently using other cessation pharmacotherapy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with systemic diseases will be excluded from the study. Patient not willing to undergo urine cotinine level test. Pregnancy or breastfeeding. Known allergy to gummy ingredients.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Evaluation of the effect of flavours of nicotine gummies on smoking cessation. Timepoint: 10-day point-prevalence abstinence at 6 months, biochemically verified by urine cotinine.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in CPD from baseline to each follow up. Time to first lapse. Adherence: gummies used/day. Adverse events monitoring throughout 6 months. Timepoint: between 1st month to 6th month
