Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling Sepsis-3 definition with suspected or proven infection and increase in SOFA score of 2 or more admitted to Medicine wards and ICU at AIIMS Rajkot

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients referred from other hospitals after 48 hours of prior admission. Cases with culture contaminants without clinical correlation.
