Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patient having at least 16 functional teeth except 3rd molars will be included in the study 2 Chronic periodontitis Patients with probing pocket depth more than or equal to 5 mm and Clinical attachment level more than 3 mm 3 Patients having radiographic evidence of alveolar bone loss

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals with any type of systemic disease Pregnant or lactating patients Patients who have been taking alcohol or smoking tobacco Patients who are on antibiotic treatment or immunosuppressive medications Patients who underwent periodontal therapy in last 6 months
