Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: a) Children with classical signs and symptoms of Karshya (Grade I and II undernutrition ). b) Children whose parents or guardians give written consent to the treatment. c)Children with age group of 2 to 6 years irrespective of gender, religion, and socio-economic background.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: a)Children less than 60% of Ideal weight for age. b) Children with history of obstructive disorders, conditions requiring surgical intervention, syndromic presentations like Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome etc. or endocrine abnormalities like Hyperthyroidism, Adrenal Insufficiency (Addison s disease), Diabetes Mellitus (Type 1) etc. d) Children with congenital anomalies affecting the musculoskeletal system, gastrointestinal tract, or respiratory system. e) children with known case of major acute systemic illnesses like Tuberculosis, Malignancies Malabsorption syndrome, Inborn error of Metabolism.
