Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants aged 18 to 64 years both males and females diagnosed with chronic stroke of at least 6 months duration having wrist flexor spasticity with Modified Ashworth Scale score of 1 plus or more cognitively able to follow commands and willing to participate with written informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Participants with severe cognitive impairment with Mini Mental State Examination score less than 18 contraindications to dry needling including bleeding disorders local infection or open wounds at needling site or needle phobia history of botulinum toxin injection in wrist flexors within the past 4 months severe wrist joint contracture limiting positioning or other neurological conditions such as Parkinson disease or multiple sclerosis
