Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex will be taken for study. Patients between the age group of 16-30 years of age. Patients who meets diagnostic criteria with presence of acne only on face.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients suffering from other systemic diseases which may interfere in course of study. Patients taking immunosuppressive medications. Lesions with secondary infections. Patients having other skin disorders or drug dependency. Pregnant and lactating women. Patients with major medical or surgical illness will be excluded from the study.

MeasureTime frame
Efficacy of cream prepared out of leaves of Heliotropium indicum(Vrischikali) in Acne vulgaris will be assessed as primary outcome and is measured at baseline.Timepoint: Is measured at baseline (day 0) and during follow-up visits on Day 7 and Day 14.

Reduction in following Pain Number of the pidaka Size of the pidaka Discharge from the pidaka Discoloration of the pidakaTimepoint: 42 days
