Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 8 to 15 years with ASD, diagnosed as per DSM 5 criteria. Children with mild to moderate ASD, capable of undergoing an oral examination. Children without any systemic conditions that could influence oral hygiene. Availability of parents or caregivers to help their children with oral hygiene practices
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with coexisting medical conditions that affect their ability to participate in the study. Children with severe ASD displaying significant sensory aversion and non compliance. Children with acute dental conditions requiring emergency care. Children who have had recent dental treatments that may influence brushing outcomes Parents or caregivers who did not consent to participate in the study.
