Intervention1: sub gingival irrigation with boric acid: sub gingival irrigation with boric acid in chronic periodontitis patients after scaling at baseline and at interval of 6 weeks till 3 months Co

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Individuals diagnosed with stage II or stage III periodontitis 2 Probing pocket depth more than or equal to 5mm 3 Clinical attachment loss more than or equal to 4mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Systemically compromised patients 2 Patients with necrotising /ulcerative oral lesions 3 Patients with grade II and grade III mobility 4 Patients undergoing any antimicrobial therapy 5 Pregnant and lactating females
