Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA physical status I or II pregnant women aged 18 to 40 years Cesarean section done after 32 weeks singleton pregnancy BMI between 26 to 35 Consent to participate

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with hypertensive disorders Patients with bleeding disorders Pre existing uncontrolled systemic comorbidities (cardiovascular respiratory or renal) Patients in whom massive intraoperative loss was expected (placenta accreta or placenta previa) Pre eclampsia, eclampsia or severe anemia Hb less than 8 g per dL Twin gestation Contraindication to neuraxial block
