Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants included are Patients with senile cataract undergoing routine phacoemulsification cataract surgery with in the bag monofocal Intraocular lens implantation. Preoperative biometry obtained using IOL Master 500 or equivalent optical biometer. Eyes with axial lengths between 20 millimeters and 26 millimeters.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Eyes with prior ocular surgery e.g., refractive surgery, vitrectomy. Eyes with corneal pathology, macular pathology, or other ocular comorbidities. Complicated cataract surgeries e.g., posterior capsular rupture. Eyes with astigmatism more than 1 diopter requiring toric Intraocular lenses.
