Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Elective infraumbilical surgeries 2.ASA grade 1 or 2 3.Parental consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Infection at the site of caudal block 2.Allergy or contraindication to Ropivacaine, dexmedetomidine or clonidine 3.Coagulopathies 4.Severe systemic or neurological diseases 5.History of anesthesia-related complications

Dexmedetomidine with Ropivacaine can be significantly more effective as compared to Clonidine with Ropivacaine.Timepoint: Assessment will be done at 4 , 8, 12, 16 and 24 hours.
