Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Systemically healthy individuals aged 18 45 years Patients diagnosed with mild to moderate chronic periodontitis Subjects who have not received periodontal therapy in the past 3 months. Patient who has not used mouthwash for last 3 months Willing to participate and provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Systemic diseases affecting oxidative stress levels. Smokers or tobacco users, as tobacco affects oxidative stress and GCF composition. Individuals on antioxidant supplements, anti-inflammatory, or antimicrobial drugs in the past month. Pregnant or lactating women. Subjects with known allergies to plant extracts or chlorhexidine. History of periodontal surgery within the last 6 months. Poor oral hygiene compliance or inability to follow study instructions.
