Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age: 19-65 years Sex: Both male and female 1. Currently employed at ICMR-NIN (scientific, technical, or administrative category) 2. Owns a compatible smartphone (Android or iOS) capable of running study applications 3. Regularly consumes Indian meals (minimum 5 of 7 days per week) 4. Willing and available to record all food and beverage intake for 7 consecutive days 5. Willing to attend 3 interviewer-administered 24-hour dietary recall sessions at ICMR-NIN 6. Provides written informed consent in preferred language (English, Hindi, or Telugu) 7. Not previously enrolled in the laboratory phase of this validation study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe or medically prescribed dietary restrictions 2. Current pregnancy or lactation 3. Diagnosed eating disorder 4. Visual impairment or physical limitation affecting smartphone or app use 5. Currently enrolled in a concurrent dietary intervention study or clinical trial 6. Planned travel or disruption preventing uninterrupted 7-day participation 7. Professional qualification or current training in nutrition, dietetics, or food science (to prevent reactivity bias)
