Intervention1: Hab al-Aas berries: Externally, gel will be applied to the wound twice a day for 10 days as per requirement.
Control Intervention1: Povidone-iodine 5% ointment: Externally, Povidone-iod

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Primiparous or multiparous.Live singleton pregnancy with 37-42 weeks of gestation with cephalic presentation. Mediolateral episiotomy or 1st degree or 2nd degree perineal tear.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: H/o chronic systemic diseases hindering wound healing (coagulation disorders, diabetes, and severe anaemia (Hb less than 7 gm/dl). Postpartum women with perineal hematoma, third or four degree perineal tear.
