Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children aged between 1 month to 18 years admitted to the PICU Who developed sepsis during the course of hospitalisation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cases of Metabolic bone disease or parathyroid disorders 2. Children with chronic renal or liver Disease 3. Children who have received Vitamin D supplements in the four weeks prior to enrolment

Incidence of sepsis in relation to Vitamin D levelsTimepoint: Assessment will be done at 10 days. Overall duration will be 12 months.
