Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients diagnosed as Dushtavrana (with clinical signs and symptoms including pain,redness,swelling,pus or discharge and delayed healing) 2. Uncomplicated superficial wound, not involving the muscle. 3. Wound area not more than 10x10x 1 cm. 4. Duration of wound not more than 1 month. 5. Patients of age group 20-50 yrs. 6. Patients irrespective of caste,religion,sex,economical status. 7. Patients who can give the written consent and regular follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetic Ulcers 2. Arterial Ulcers 3. Tuberculous Ulcers 4. Lepromatous Ulcers 5. Patient with Anemia- Hb % less than 9gm % 6. Malignant Ulcers 7. Trophic ulcers resulting from nerve diseases- tabes dorsalis, transverse myelitis, peripheral neuritis. 8. Patients of HIV infection & Patients of Sexually Transmitted Diseases. 9. Complicated wound i.e. gangrene,osteomyelitis 10. Hepatitis B +ve (HBsAg) 11. Patients of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
