Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Single rooted single canal mandibular premolar teeth in adult male patients diagnosed with symptomatic apical periodontitis. Symptomatic apical periodontitis confirmed with Periapical radiograph,EPT/ Cold test and percussion test will be included. Patients with pain ranging from moderate to severe on verbal rating scale.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients taken analgesics or anti inflammatory drugs within 12 hrs. Patients allergic to local anesthetic agents and NSAID. Patients taking opiods Asymptomatic apical periodontitis Mandibular premolar teeth with more than one root and more than one canal, calcified canals,root resorption, sinus tract, periodontal disease and mobility. Patients not willing to report during follow up periods will be excluded.
