Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria Participants will be included if they meet all of the following Age 18 years or more Underwent major oncologic surgery requiring postoperative admission between 01 January 2024 and 31 January 2024 Classified as elevated risk for any complication by the ACS NSQIP calculator using complete preoperative inputs Complete availability of preoperative ACS inputs and predicted length of stay Complete records of actual length of stay and postoperative outcomes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria Participants will be excluded if they meet any of the following Age less than 18 years Day care or minor procedures not requiring inpatient admission Surgeries with incomplete preoperative documentation preventing ACS calculations Pregnant patients Missing key outcome data including actual length of stay discharge date or postoperative complications

To compare actual postoperative length of stay (LOS) with the ACS NSQIP-predicted LOS among elevated-risk oncologic surgery patientsTimepoint: post operative periods

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To identify perioperative predictors (preoperative and intraoperative) of prolonged LOS, defined as LOS more than 75th percentile of the cohort.Timepoint: post operative periods;To describe the incidence and pattern of postoperative complications within 30 days of surgery (Clavien Dindo classification).Timepoint: 30 days after surgery;To determine one-year postoperative survival and examine associations with perioperative factors and postoperative complications.Timepoint: 1 year after surgery
