Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Debonded patients, after completion of orthodontic treatment. 2.Patients with no significant history of periodontal diseases or active carious lesions. 3.Patients with good oral hygiene. 4.Compliant patients with willingness to wear the retainers.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who have on going orthodontic treatment 2.Patients who have systemic illness like diabetes, osteoporosis, etc., that will affect the periodontal health and active caries lesions. 3.Patients with poor oral hygiene. 4.Non-compliant patients 5.History of TMJ disorders that will hinder the proper wear and removal of the retainers. 6.Patients who have habit of smoking.
