Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Children admitted to the PICU. Undergoing echocardiography for suspected cardiovascular compromise (e.g., shock, sepsis, respiratory failure).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Structural congenital heart disease (except for small ASD/PDA not affecting EF). 2. Poor acoustic window precluding EPSS measurement. 3. Arrhythmias interfering with EPSS evaluation.
