Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Women identified as having mild or moderate anaemia according to WHO classification, who have provided informed consent to participate in the intervention study and lactating women with mild or moderate anaemia who are not on IFA medication
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women, Lactating women on IFA medication, Any active medical illness that can lead to anaemia (HIV, TB, Known blood disorders, etc), Women with diagnosed psychiatric illness, Ongoing use of iron supplementation for more than 4 weeks and Women with a haemoglobin level less than 8 grams per deciliter (Severe anaemia)
